Revocation refers to a change in certificate status resulting in the loss of validity of this in terms of any condition other than its expiration. Speaking of revocation we will refer to the loss of final and not reversible validity of the certificate. Any digital signature made with a revoked certificate will be invalid. Therefore, when validating a signature, it should be always checked the status of the certificate or validate it in the certificate revoked list.

1.- Through the ONLINE Revocation Service Access to service and enter the Revocation PIN (this code is sent to you by e-mail when your certificate is requested)

2.- In the Registration Authority Contact your Registration Authority during business hours to the public using our ID. 3.-If an entity wants to revoke the certificate of a natural person linked to it, can send a communication (by mail, fax, etc..) duly signed and stamped to its Registration Authority requesting the revocation of such certificate. The revocation by a third party (other than the subscriber or to the company that it is linked) will be made personally in the Registration Authority. A digital certificate can be revoked for these reasons:

  • Voluntary Request of digital certificate subscriber .
  • Loss or Damage in the digital certificate support.
  • Death of subscriber.
  • Changes or inaccuracies in data submitted by the Subscriber to obtain the certificate.
  • Detection of the certificate of the subscriber or the AC have been compromised.
  • and the rest of causes established in the related certification policies
